Medal of Honor Armor Idea
So I had an idea for what ANET can do with these MoH's. They can use the PvP henchman armor as player armor. I know that there were tonics given out to the players that came up with the builds for them, but these could be different.
here are the differences I thought of that keep the tonics unique still:
A.) The tonics already make you look like the henchman that you turn into. The Medal of Honor Armor would not.
B.) The would be default grey as opposed to the tonics that are multi-colored.
C.) At this point, a lot of the players have said they want new armor. Most of us wouldn't care if we couldn't mix and match these sets with other sets. Even if there were mad clipping issues with other sets, most of us would be happy just to have some new armors!
D.) I know that at least one of the sets(Luzy Fiera) has the same armor as this and it was originally designed to be a player set: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Elementalist_Aziure
E.) If there isn't a set for the sex of your character, then oh well. I know that I wouldn't mind paying for an extreme makeover at this point in the game if it meant I could get a new set of armor. There would still be a way to get sets for other characters too.
I know they said it would be too hard to make new sets etc. etc. but this at least fixes them having to design new stuff. It is already designed. Sure it would have to be parceled out into actual armor sets, but the art is already there. Any thoughts as to why/why not you think this should be in the game?

Ohhhh...nice idea. But I heard that someone hacked into the .dat file and found out that the Medal of Honor is meant for Shining Blade weapons.
Of course, since the item is relating to the Shining Blade, I kinda fail to see how PvP henchmen armor is related to the Shining Blade.

I was just trying to think of an easier way for ANET to implement new armor, and that was the best i could come up with short of them having to design all new sets.

This.
MoHs already have a use (and it's likely to be related to those White Mantle weapons found in the .DAT file), it's just that it's not been implemented yet.
Also, new "armor" as it's being suggested (single piece, profession-indipendent appearence) is close in concept to costumes: I wouldn't mind if some WiK-related costumes (such as the Lion's Gate Guard Uniform or some of the light armors worn by the Shining Blade Soldiers) were offered in exchange for MoHs in game.

It would be nice but, as others said, it looks like they already have weapons assigned to MOH

NPC armor is not the same as player armor. Player armor varies on size and fits with various pieces. NPC armor is a single piece, all one size (each NPC is the same size). Would be nice to get new armor, and it has been suggested many times in the past. I know it won't happen though, as Anet staff has commented in the past on how much work it entails. With the staff they have available, and the amount of work it requires, it just won't happen in my opinion.
But as I have said in the numerous other topics about new armor, if they add more, they need to add it in to equal out the armor sets for each class. Give Assassin, Ritualist, Dervish, and Paragon more sets to have available for the HoM (and even even out the Warrior, Mesmer, etc. with different amounts).

i'm pretty sure aNet already knows what they will be implementing for the medals. we'll just have to be patient and see what they are.
